The Inge Perkins Scholarship celebrates the life and inspiration of Inge by providing financial assistance to young climbers and mountaineers living in Inge’s home state of Montana.

Bozeman Climbing Team athletes as well as aspiring Montana Junior Mountaineering Team applicants are both eligible for scholarships. As an alumnus of both teams, Inge loved rock climbing as well as big days in the mountains, from long alpine ascents to epic ski traverses.

Funds for these unique programs serve to provide opportunities for Bozeman’s youth to gain confidence through the physical, mental, and emotional growth that rock climbing and mountaineering nurtures.

The overarching vision of the Inge Scholarship is to help develop not just stronger mountain athletes, but engaged community contributors and future mentors to inspire others.
